So here is the story on this car. I always wanted one, I stumbled across this in early November. I bought it in pristine condition, did a ton of service, and planned on keeping it for myself. November 19th I took it home and went out to dinner. On the way home I was on a back road and hit a patch of wet leaves while taking a 90 degree bend. I wasn't going to fast but the leaves took the back end around and I hit a guard rail. The way I hit the rail ended up tipping the car. There was very minimal sliding and the impact wasn't to bad, I just did some damage all over. I was debating fixing it and keeping it but the wife just won't let me have another toy so my loss is your gain. We are not a body shop so our evaluation is simply based on visual inspection. The car has been being moved in and out of the shop daily but today it the starter won't engage, this is something we should be able to have squared away. We are selling it as a good running car, it just may need a starter. The only other thing we saw that would keep it from being "driveable" is the driver's front tie rod and control arm. They seem to be all that bent in the accident. Other than that here is a list of the parts my painter says are repairable and then a list of what you will need to replace. Again, this is not a professional estimate, just something to go off as a basis for making the purchase.

Repairable:

A Pillars, doors, passenger quarter panel, passenger fender, hood, convertible top frame

Needs Replacement:

windshield, driver's side door airbag, fenders, driver's quarter panel, driver's side skirt, soft top, driver's side window, driver's front tire

This is a very basic list but our painter gave a rough price of 6500 to fix everything except the convertible top. So for under 19000 you could have a clean title Maserati GT Spyder.
