Over the past 3 years we have sold over 1000 vehicles on ebay and decided that we would take a new approach to the advertising. Let's face it, when you buy a car on ebay the main thing you are lacking is the ability to test drive. Our new approach to the marketplace will be to give you a "virtual test drive" so to speak. Rather than a fancy description we are going to keep it simple. We are going to pair a description of our test drive and mechanic evaluation with a list of the pro's and con's of this particular car. These will be based on years of buying vehicles and knowing what to look for when purchasing. Please remember above all that it is IMPOSSIBLE for a used car to be perfect so any seller that doesn't list flaws is just not being thorough, we are taking the guess work out of online buying. This car actually belonged to a friend of mine for the past few years. He is a police officer in the town he lived in so this was just the car he cruised back to work in. The car has had its regular oil changed and has been maintained very well.
I drove in this car went quite well. I drove it about 50 miles to work the day we aquired it and noticed no problems with brake fade, no odd noises, and no odd shakes. All accessories worked well and the car on the whole seemed to run out exceptionally well. You could definitely tell it was well cared for. When I returned and checked it out in the shop I found no major issues. The brakes seemed to have plenty of life left and the set of tires still have plenty of life left as well. We did a full tune up as part of the prep for the car.
The Good:
great on gas- No rips inseats - ac blows ice cold - recent tires - 5 speed eliminates potential trans problems - solid car - just serviced and needs nothing mechanically - very low miles for price
The Bad:
paint peeled a bit on the hood - some minor wear on exterior - dash adhesive is peeling a bit by defrosters
